Titan Strike sort of does for scatter prize games what Book of 99 did for 'book of' games, and the two slots have a bunch of common traits. They're both mythology-based, do things that the majority of their direct competitors do not do, and are able to reward long-term play, or at least encourage long-term play. Not only does Titan Strike cough up super free spins for players patient enough to fill all five stages, but it also triggers regular free spins along the way when individual collection stages are achieved. Unfortunately, Titan Strike does not boast the same extraordinary RTP that Book of 99 does. Can't really hold this against Titan Strike, though; very few slots have a return value of 99% like Book of 99.

What Titan Strike does do is take a very popular slot formula and branch off somewhere new with it. As well as the collection feature, the game unusually locks a lightning strike symbol to the centre of the grid during both free spins rounds, while super free spins go one better by awarding the highest achieved lightning strike win on every subsequent spin.
